AB-Team is a football betting advisory service which specialises in Italian, Austrian, Swiss and Slovenian football. Markets include Asian handicap, over/under and both teams to score. In additon to the regular pre-game picks (proofed by Sports-Tipsters from the 6th August 2014 until the 15th December 2014) the service also advises live (inplay) bets as well (not verified by Sports-Tipsters). Despite a stated mission to be "best in the field" offering "best value for money services to sports bettors" from a former "advisor for syndicates, professional and recreational bettors" and "odds compiler", the owner of AB-Team is apparently not in control of his website, his friend is via a free-hosting wix account. One might expect someone selling betting advice to actually be in charge of his own affairs, rather than allowing someone else to be. Perhaps I'm being overly fussy. Those who think so might then wish to ask the owner why he stopped submitting picks to his first Blogabet verification account on the 20th August (showing -17% yield from 101 paid picks) and then immediately started a new one the very next day, which after 466 paid picks was showing a -4% loss. Including the free picks from both records, AB-Team has been responsible for over 830 verified picks (including live picks) since April 2013 that overall have lost money.
Sports-Tipsters' Comment: posted 19th December 2014
On the 19th December 2014 the owner of AB-Team contacted Sports-Tipsters to say it was taking too long to contact his friend so it was probably best to stop verificaiton. He also said that once existing subscriptions had been honoured, his intention was to stop the service. Given his Blogabet history it is to be expected he will try again in the future. Sadly, this sort of thing is all too common. Despite the lessons of failure, tipsters keep coming back for more, living in a world of denial and under an illusion of control they perceive they have over causality in sports betting.
