Netsportspicks tips on all the professional and college US sports. Verified by Sports-Tipsters from the 22nd January 2015 until it stopped submitting tips after the 15th February 2015. See below for explanation.

The vast majority of bets are advised with Pinnacle Sports (not available to UK customers).
According to the website, Netsportspicks has delievered a profit of over $300,000, betting $100 per pick since 2005 for a yield close to +10%. It also states that prior to the launch of the website (19th December 2009) picks were being provided by 2 Yahoo groups (one of them can be found here) to over 1,000 members. The owner has declined to say how may of these members are currently subscribing to the website.
In Sports-Tipsters opinion, a service capable of delivering close to a 10% yield over 9 years, advising potentially hundreds of customers to stake $100 per tip would show a clear and significant signal on odds histories. Such a successful tipster used by so many customers for so long would be "marked" by the high liquidity brands like Pinnacle Sports (particularly in high volume markets like US-sports) and used to help set their lines. Indeed, that is Pinnacle Sports' official business policy. As such, one should reasonably be expected to see appproximately 10% price falls between that advised by the tipster and the closing market price prior to the start of matches. More generally, punters and tipsters who consistently beat the closing price are utilised by such bookmakers to help manage lines, as these customers are considered to show evidence (beyond the boookmaker's own traders) of a signficant foreacsting skill.
Sports-Tipsters has analysed the market movements for 102 of Netsportspicks' tips (all were advised with Pinnacle Sports) during the period 1st to 14th February 2015. The average advised betting price from this sample was 1.900, whilst the average closing market betting price was 1.887, showing an average fall of 0.7%. 48 of the 102 advised prices fell by market closure, whilst 43 rose and 11 closed at the same price. Only 2 of the 102 prices showed a drop of more than 10%. 58 of them showed price movements within plus or minus 3%. In Sports-Tipsters opinion this is evidence of little more than random market movement post-advice, and no clear evidence of a tipster that is marked. A tipster with a 9-year history of close to 10% yield from tens of thousands of tips at an average price of 1.90 would be expected to shorten a typical market to 1.73. In this sample that hasn't happened.
Sports-Tispters additional comment 17/02/2015
Without communication Netsportspicks opted to discontinue verification by removing the Sports-Tipsters verification seal from its website. Conveniently, as it undertook this wesbite update, it chose not to bother to also update its results to include the period from the 3rd February to the 15th February, which was the date of the last submitted tip. Unsurprisingly, this period witnessed a loss of $1,120 from 94 $100 stakes. From this we might reasonably conclude that: a) the owner did not like being questioned about the number of customers he has and whether he has made the reported profit himself; b) the owner did not like the reporting of his apparent inability to beat the closing market in any consistent way (as reported above); and c) he delays reporting on losing periods until such time as has passed that these can be accomodated by future performance.
Based on this experience Sports-Tispters does not recommend anyone paying the subscription fee to this tipster. It also recommends that any prospective tupster reading this who is thinking about having their service verified by Sports-Tipsters carefully reads the terms as stated on the contact page. Sports-Tipsters makes it clear that it reserves the right to make public scutiny of any tipster it is verifying.
