Sports-Tipsters received a final batch of tips on the 27th March 2014. Thereafter there were no further tips and despite two attempts to communicate, Academicbet did not respond. Sports-Tipsters chose to remove the service on the 19th April 2014. The verified record closed on a yield of +1.93% from 160 picks. It has to be assumed that Academicbet chose to cease tipping because it was no longer confident it had any ability in forecasting tennis matches, following a dramatic downturn from the end of February. On that basis the tipster's claim to have 12 years experience in tennis betting has to be disregarded. People with 12 years experience in betting do not run away from their responsibilities without notice after just 40 poor tips, unless those 12 years lost money. At least the service was free, and whilst it operated did actually manage to make a profit.
