Bookiechecker: no longer verified - failed service
Since October 2013 Bookiechecker has been offering free football beting picks. From 18th January 2014 they have offered a Preimum service, proofed from the start by Sports-Tipsters until it stopped submitting tips (last tip 6th April 2014). Picks come from the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Seria A, Ligue 1 and, during the football summer break, MLB baseball. Advised bookmakers are those with the highest limits.
Sports-Tipsters ended verification for Bookiechecker on the 19th April 2014 on the grounds that it had lost over half its advised bankroll since beginning only 3 months ago, yet claiming to offer professional money management. The record verified by Sports-Tipsters closed with a yield of -13.05% from 164 picks. Of course this is not a large sample of picks but arguably it should not have been advising 2.5% stakes for every bet if such poor luck lies well within the realms of possibility. Additionally, the service had been failing to respond to e-mails sent by Sports-Tipsters. On its website Bookiechecker claimed to be different. Like all the other services that Sports-Tipsters has observed are claiming to be different, it wasn't. It was exactly the same: unprofitable, unlucky, unprofessional and almost certainly unskilled. Why on earth was it charging money for this?
