Note: Sports-Tipsters has taken the decision to stop proofing tipster conglomerates where one website is managing a number of difference tipsters under one name. Such records do not realistically represent the performance that can be expected by a punter because no punter will likely follow all the tipsters together. Furthermore, their ranking analysis can distort the tipsters' leagues by appearing either at or near the top or bottom on account of the large number of tips submitted by different tipsters that are treated under one analysis. Consequently, Sports-Tipsters stopped proofing the BettingExpert conglomerate as of 17th January 2011. Punters can still download the CSV record up to this date.
BettingExpert.com is a subscription-based sports betting advisory service started in August 2004, and proofed to Sports-Tipsters since December 2004. The service provides high-quality Asian Handicap and Fixed Odds soccer tips, basketball and ice hockey tips, racing tips and more. Members can purchase credits (for as little as €20), which they can use to buy picks from the tipster(s) that they would like to follow.
In addition to the standard small discrepancies (see "About the Leagues") between the record shown by Sports-Tipsters and that shown by the service, for Betting Expert there are others that arise due to the duplication of tips. The Betting Expert service is built around a number of tipsters, and there are occasions when 2 (or more) tipsters advise either exactly the same bet or the same selection but with opposing positions. Betting Expert has void all but the original tip, whereas Sport-Tipsters has counted them all for proofing.
