Sportyy.com - no longer verified
Sportyy.com was founded by financial markets professional Daniel Mateos and specialises in football and tennis betting picks. Football picks are available free, whilst a subscription is required to receive the tennis picks, available via both e-mail and SMS. From August 2013 two packages are available: Premium Pro (around 130 picks per month) and Preimum (around 50 picks per month). Sportyy will provide regular information about money and risk management, and how best to maximise your profit growth. Tips by Sportyy are advised according to a rolling bankroll percentage staking strategy, but for ease are proofed as fixed unit stakes by Sports-Tipster (e.g. 2% is proofed as 2 units, 4% as 4 units). Consequently profits recorded by Sports-Tipsters will not be the same as those publsihed by Sportyy, and punters wishing to follow the service should be clear about this distinction. Available in both Spanish and English. Proofed to Sports-Tipsters from June 2010. Premium Pro subscribers receive all picks from the Premium package and the larger subscription is the one proofed here.
Sports-Tipsters' comment
Sports-Tipsters has a material interest in the company Pyckio.com, a new tipping community devoloped by the owner of Sportyy. To avoid a conflict of interest and accusations that Sports-Tipsters was not independent, verification was discontinued on the 15th June 2014. Additionally, anyone considering subscribing to Sportyy should consider the following information. In August 2013 after a 2-month break, Sportyy relaunched with a new quantitative model developed through a collaboration between Sportyy's owner and 2 university Statistics and Econometrics academics. Between August 2013 and June 2014, the service showed little if any profitability from 850 picks compared to the original service, and punters should consider whether such a quantitative model is really delivering an edge.
